Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions outline the rules and guidelines for clients engaging with Maid It LLC. By booking a service, you agree to comply with these terms.

1. Bonded and Insured

Maid It LLC is a bonded and insured cleaning service provider. Proof of insurance is available upon request.

2. Booking Process

All booking requests must be submitted through our website’s “Calculate Your Own Quote” option. We do not process or confirm bookings over the phone, which is reserved for consultation purposes only.
Once an estimate request is submitted, we will contact you within 24 hours with an invoice for approval. After you confirm via email, your appointment will be set.

3. Payment Terms

Payment is due upon receipt of the invoice, which can be made via bank transfer, Zelle, Venmo, or Cashapp. All payment details are listed on the invoice.
A 5% late fee will apply to any invoice unpaid past the due date. Services may be paused for outstanding balances and will resume once past due bills are paid.
Clients with a history of late payments may be required to pay prior to each cleaning.

4. Initial Cleaning Duration

Initial cleanings often take longer due to the thorough nature of the service. Factors influencing duration include the size of the home, number of occupants, pets, and level of buildup.
Regular cleanings (weekly, bi-weekly, or every 4 weeks) are recommended for maintenance, as sporadic cleanings may result in longer service times due to increased buildup.

5. Limitations of Service

We currently do not offer organizing services or clean any outside surfaces, including exterior windows. Our insurance only covers services conducted inside your home.
Services we do not provide include washing walls, folding clothes, organizing, moving furniture or appliances, and biohazard cleaning (e.g., mold, blood, bodily fluids).

6. Entry to Premises

Clients are not required to be home during cleaning appointments, provided the property owner grants written permission for entry and access is arranged via lockbox, code, or key.
If a walk-through cannot be completed in person, we will document the completed project with photos and send them via email.

7. Satisfaction Guarantee

If our service does not meet your expectations, please notify us within 24 hours of completion so we can address any concerns and work toward a resolution.

8. Breakage or Missing Items

Maid It LLC is fully insured for such incidents. In the rare case of breakage or loss, please contact us within 24 hours of the service so we can work with you on a resolution.

9. Cancellation and Rescheduling

Please be advised that a service fee will apply, and the service will need to be rescheduled if the property lacks electricity, water, air conditioning (during hot months), or heating (during cold months) at the time of the appointment. Additionally, we do not currently charge fees for cancellations or rescheduling initiated by the client, but we appreciate prompt notice to accommodate your needs effectively.

10. Hours of Operation

Our office is open from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, seven days a week. Cleaning appointments can be scheduled between 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM.

11. Preparation for Cleaning

To help us provide efficient service, please pick up any toys, clothing, or trash, and ensure pets are safely secured.

12. Interior Window and Appliance Cleaning

We clean interior windows (excluding track and screen removal). To clean inside cabinets and appliances, they must be emptied prior to our arrival.

13. Non-Negotiable Pricing

Our rates are fixed, but we offer a range of discounts and service plans.

14. Tipping

While not required, tips are appreciated and can be given in cash or added to your total. We ensure cleaners receive any tips provided.
